WHEN: May 17th, 9am-7pm CST. Check-in is at 9am. The first game will begin promptly at 9:30am.

LOCATION: 1977 W Us Highway 50, Fairview Heights, IL 62208

EVENT DETAILS: Entry to the event is $20.00 which is to be paid to the store upon arrival.

The Best Coast Pairings (BCP) app will be used. Attendees are expected to have it available, functioning, and registered.

This tournament will be a ranked event through the ITC and Goonhammer UTC. ITC Hobby track will also be applied.

Four rounds of two hours each will be played. All updates from Warhammer Community will be in effect. New teams released within two weeks of the event will be subject to TO approval.

Fully 3D printed Kill Teams are prohibited. Singular printed models will be considered with TO approval. 3D printed accessories such as custom shoulder pads, heads, basing accoutrement, etc. are allowed.

Store credit payout for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Trophy for best painted.

A League Challenge is a small, entry-level event that is held monthly by most Play! Pokémon Stores. In Pokémon TCG League Challenge tournaments, players can earn Championship Points and work toward earning an invitation to the World Championships! These events are designed to be a player’s first experience of formal tournament competition before moving up to League Cups, Regional Championships, and beyond.

Format: Warhammer 40,000 10th Edition Matched Play

Battle Size: 2000 pts, Board Size: 60” x 44”, ENTRY FEE: $20

ITC & LMC event!, Pariah Nexus Mission decks will be used.

Army Selection: Follow the Battle Forged guidelines in 10 Edition rulebook. An army and all detachments within must share the same selectable keyword, that is the keyword in the “< >” brackets.

Yes, fully painted scores are in effect.  You will receive 10 pts for fully painted.  Each model must be fully painted with 3 colors and based.

Terrain will be set up according to WTC/GW/ITC standards.

BYE ROUND:  If you receive the bye round you will be awarded a win and 75 battle points.

DROP POLICY:  Players who drop after the first round will be automatically waitlisted for the next tournament they sign up for. I get it, losing in the first round is tough, but those drops cause other players to take by-rounds and its unfair to players to have to sit out when they came to play three full rounds.  Come to play.

3D Prints policy:  3d prints are okay in moderation.  No armies made of 100% 3D printed units. C’mon, no one wants to play against your jank 100% 3D printed army.  Bits and pieces and cool models are okay.  Etc.  We don’t want to go around and police this all day so please use discretion.

Sabacc, the famous card game that won Han Solo the Millenium falcon is played in every cantina across the universe, but the high stakes game is most popular on the Outer Rim… and now Fantasy Books and Games has opened its doors to all manner of pilots, scoundrels and bounty hunters looking for fame an fortune….

Buy-in includes in game “credits” to wager and play with.  Haven’t played before?  We will do a demo and quick learn-to then jump right in!  Play will go for multiple rounds based on number of players, and the players with the top 3 most credits in the end will place for some store credit and other goodies.   Run out of credits?  Game over, hotshot.

Come in your best Star Wars styled cosplay or in universe outfit and receive a handful more “credits” at the beginning of the game.

Ever wanted to learn Warhammer 40K but not sure if you are ready to jump in? Now is the time! With this learn to play event everything you need to learn the game is provided! No need to bring miniatures, worry about dice or books; its all available to use during the event, just bring yourself!

Be ready to learn 40K in a relaxed small group environment with a veteran player who will guide you through the game.

This event is designed for people who have never played a game of 40k, and will start with basics of the game all the way to advanced concepts and tricky rules interactions. Come learn why Warhammer is the most popular tabletop wargame in the world!

-Only cards with commons and uncommon rarity may be used for decks in this format.
-Decks will also still be the usual 50 cards + a digi egg deck that does not exceed 5.

This will be a doubles event. We will be using the Pariah Nexus Chapter Approved, using the “TableTop Battles” App for tracking secondaries and Victory points, if you are not able to access the app we will have copies of the physical missions cards for purchase.

Fully painted armies are not required but 10pts will be awarded for battle ready painted armies (3 colors and base). 3D printed accent pieces such as Space Marine shoulder pads are acceptable but fully 3D printed or non-GW models need to be check by the TO for legality (or message Cash on our discord server linked below)

This will be a 2v2 style tournament, each player on a team will have 1000pts, so each team will be 2,000 combined. You and your partner’s army units do not need to share a big keyword(Imperium, Chaos, Xenos, etc.)  Each player will have separate Command Points but will have a combined Victory point total. You can work together to capture objectives and complete the main and secondary missions. You will take turns and go through the steps of a round with your teammate, acting at the same time.

Doors are open at 10:00 and games start at 10:45 so don’t be late! NO EXCEPTIONS!
Prizes will be awarded for top 3 and best painted.

This will be 30m best of 1 swiss. The number of rounds and prizing will depend on the number of trainers, Top-Cut will be 50m best of 3 (if numbers allow for a top-cut). Deck Lists must be in no later than 5 minutes after Registration closes.
