Fantasy Books and Games is excited to host monthly one-shots of some amazing independent Role Playing Games! Hosted by FWD RPG, this event is intended for players who would like to try something new and different… there are a ton of great independent RPGs, and its time to dive in!  Experience with RPGs is preferred, but not required.  No experience with the featured RPG system is required at all, our pro GameMaster will walk you through what you need to know to have an amazing session.

This month: Kids on Bikes a Collaborative World Building RPG set in small towns with big mysteries. Players take on the roles of small town heroes facing big adventure.  If you like STRANGER THINGS you will like KIDS ON BIKES.

Please arrive by 9AM to give yourself enough time to be ready for the start of the first round.  First round will start at 9:30am! If you are late you will not be paired up!

Army Selection:

Lists will be 2000 points and created with the latest GHB and FAQ.

[Legends] units will not be allowed in this event.

Round Length:

Each round will be 3 hours. There will be a strict “dice down” at the end of allotted time and players are encouraged to talk out the rest of the game.

Prizes will be handed out at the end of the event. Store credit payout will be prizing for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd based on number of entries!  There will be best painted prize store credit payout as well.

League Cup events are a step up from League Challenge competitions. They feature an increased Championship Points payout and give players more opportunities to test their skills in preparation for larger events. They offer a greater challenge and involve more competing players and more prizes.

League Cups are hosted by selected stores that are part of our organized play program and are held once every three months.

Iconic characters from across the Star Wars galaxy clash in this new miniatures skirmish game! Star Wars: Shatterpoint invites players to collect, assemble, and paint their own squads of heroes, villains, and their allies and pit them against one another in tense duels to control key battlefield objectives.

Event Structure: The event will consist of three 120-minute Swiss rounds. Final standings will be determined by win/loss record, with Strength of Schedule as the first tiebreaker and struggle cards collected differential as the second tiebreaker.

Meet the original video game voice of Sonic the Hedgehog, Ryan Drummond, at Heroic Adventures Thursday March 13 from 6 to 8pm. Ryan is a prolific voice actor who was the voice of Sonic from 1998 to 2004, as well as characters in many other video games. You can talk to Ryan about his career, voice acting and get some merchandise signed. This is a great opportunity for any Sonic fan!

This will be a 2000pt event. We will be using the Pariah Nexus Chapter Approved, using the “TableTop Battles” App for tracking secondaries and Victory points, if you are not able to access the app we will have copies of the physical missions cards for purchase.

Fully painted armies are **not** required but 10pts will be awarded for battle ready painted armies (3 colors and base). 3D printed accent pieces such as Space Marine shoulder pads are acceptable but fully 3D printed or non-GW models need to be check by the TO for legality (or message Cash on our discord server linked below)

Doors are open at 10:00 and games start at 10:45 so don’t be late!

We’re holding a highlander format tournament again for Digimon! Since this is a singleton format, there are special rules for this kind of event.

Highlander Rules are as follows:

• Players must use a deck constructed to Highlander specifications. This means your main Deck AND Digi-Egg deck cannot contain more than 1 copy of a card with the same card number.
• Even cards that have the direction “Up to 50 cards with this same card number can be included in a deck.” will be limited to 1 copy only.
• Banned cards are not permitted in the deck.

Pauper Commander Night, Saturday February 15th, 6PM

Join us for our first ever MTG Pauper Commander Night! Pauper Commander is just like regular commander but is a much cheaper and slower play style format. It allows for players to really stretch their deck building muscles and create some fun decks to freshen up your Magic playing experience.

Pauper Commander differs from regular Commander in that your commander is an Uncommon(or common) creature that isn’t required to be legendary and all of the rest of your 99-card deck is made up with cards printed at common rarity at some point in Magic’s 30+ year history! This is a FREE event and we will have some premade decks available for you to play with if you do not have your own!

Pokémon TCG League Cup tournaments give players an opportunity to earn Championship Points and practice their skills for larger competitions. Come battle other Pokemon trainers on your way to fame. 

This will be 30m best of 1 swiss. The number of rounds and prizing will depend on the number of trainers, Top-Cut will be 50m best of 3 (if numbers allow for a top-cut). Deck Lists must be in no later than 5 minutes after Registration closes.

Ever wanted to learn Warhammer 40K but not sure if you are ready to jump in? Now is the time! With this learn to play event everything you need to learn the game is provided! No need to bring miniatures, worry about dice or books; its all available to use during the event, just bring yourself!
