Welcome to the Fantasy Books and Games Escalation League!

 It’s a new year! This league will focus on learning the game and getting your new army battle ready!

Each 3-week period of the league we will bump the points value up, and players can earn prizes for playing and having all of their minis painted in each period!!

Each portion of our escalation league will be three weeks! For that three-week period, games will be played at a specific points value, beginning with 550pt games for the first period, then 1000 point games for the 2nd period, 1500 point games for the 3rd period and finally 2000 point games for the 4th period.

Our Kids Pokémon Learn to Play and Meet Up  is designed for anyone 14 and under. 

Don’t know how to play Pokémon?  No problem, our staff will show you how to play the game, and offer advice on building decks and strategy!  Pokémon is a great opportunity to teach your children sportsmanship, basic math, reading comprehension, and social skills in a fun way!

If you already know how to play, show up and get some games in with other Pokémon enthusiasts.  Our Pokémon Professors will be available to help with all rules questions, deck building tips, and strategy tips! All you need to bring is a deck!

Be ready to learn 40K in a relaxed small group environment with a veteran player who will guide you through the game.

This event is designed for people who have never played a game of 40k, and will start with basics of the game all the way to advanced concepts and tricky rules interactions. Come learn why Warhammer is the most popular tabletop wargame in the world!

WEATHER PERMITTING…Are you prepared for combat???  Bring your foam LARP weapons and battle it out on the field behind Fantasy Books and Games!   Spar with your favorite opponents, or take place in organized games where combat with foam LARP weapons will determine victory or defeat.  We will run different types of game modes.  Adults and children are welcome, but no children under 16 without parental supervision.  All participants will be required to fill out a waiver and code of conduct on the day! This meet up is free!

Sunday January 4 and January 18, 12:00pm to 3:00 pm

Join us and Gary Hill every third Sunday of the month for miniature painting! All experience levels welcome! Come get tips and tricks on taking your painting game to the next level, or learn fundamentals as you put a brush to a miniature for the first time.

Bring what ever minis you are working on and paint with other hobbiests, Gary is available to help anyone with any learning needed. More information here.

This will be a 2000pt event. We will be using the 25-26 Chapter Approved, using the “TableTop Battles” App for tracking secondaries and Victory points, if you are not able to access the app we may have copies of the physical missions cards for purchase.

Fully painted armies are **not** required but 10pts will be awarded for battle ready painted armies (3 colors and base). 3D printed accent pieces such as Space Marine shoulder pads are acceptable but fully 3D printed or non-GW models need to be checked by the TO for legality (or message Cash on our discord server)

Doors are open at 10:00 and games start at 10:45 so don’t be late!

Prizes will be awarded for top 3 and best painted.

Two special events featuring two different cube drafts and formats! Choose your way to play!

First off, a Magic draft cube featuring cards specifically from Mystery Booster 2. Play with cards from across every release of Magic and even some unreleased cards as well! Head to head matches.

Secondly, a custom cube for racing fanatics, the Mario Kart Multiplayer Cube. This cube is all about the speed mechanic with a special deck for item boxes that you can pick up during the games! Played in pods of 4.
