A League Challenge is a small, entry-level event that is held monthly by most Play! Pokémon Stores. In Pokémon TCG League Challenge tournaments, players can earn Championship Points and work toward earning an invitation to the World Championships! These events are designed to be a player’s first experience of formal tournament competition before moving up to League Cups, Regional Championships, and beyond. The Best Coast Pairings (BCP) app will be used. Attendees are expected to have it available, functioning, and registered.

Four rounds of two hours each will be played. All updates from Warhammer Community will be in effect. New teams released within two weeks of the event will be subject to TO approval.

Store credit payout for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Trophy for best painted!

League Cup events are a step up from League Challenge competitions. They feature an increased Championship Points payout and give players more opportunities to test their skills in preparation for larger events. They offer a greater challenge and involve more competing players and more prizes.

League Cups are hosted by selected stores that are part of our organized play program and are held once every three months.

Our Kids Pokémon Learn to Play and Meet Up  is designed for anyone 14 and under.  Don’t know how to play Pokémon?  No problem, our staff will show you how to play the game, and offer advice on building decks and strategy!  Pokémon is a great opportunity to teach your children sportsmanship, basic math, reading comprehension, and social skills in a fun way! If you already know how to play, show up and get some games in with other Pokémon enthusiasts.  Our Pokémon Professors will be available to help with all rules questions, deck building tips, strategy tips, and will be monitoring trades between players to ensure they remain fair! All you need to bring is a deck and some dice or damage counters to get started! Entry is $10, and the league will run for approximately 2 hours!

Army Selection: Follow the Battle Forged guidelines in 10 Edition rulebook.

Fully painted scores are in effect.  You will receive 10 pts for fully painted.  Each model that is on the table or can be on the table must be fully painted and based.

Store credit payout for top 4 winners and best painted.  Other prizes for sportsmanship will also be given away!  

Best painted winner will be chosen by the Tournament Organizer, with input from store staff and tournament judges.  Painting will be judged on overall look, concept, originality and technique.  Any army that wins best painted will no longer be eligible to win the award for the remainder of the 2025 season.

Ever wanted to learn Warhammer 40K but not sure if you are ready to jump in? Now is the time! With this learn to play event everything you need to learn the game is provided! No need to bring miniatures, worry about dice or books; its all available to use during the event, just bring yourself!

Be ready to learn 40K in a relaxed small group environment with a veteran player who will guide you through the game.

This event is designed for people who have never played a game of 40k, and will start with basics of the game all the way to advanced concepts and tricky rules interactions. Come learn why Warhammer is the most popular tabletop wargame in the world!

Are you prepared for combat???  Bring your foam LARP weapons and battle it out on the field behind Fantasy Books and Games!   Spar with your favorite opponents, or take place in organized games where combat with foam LARP weapons will determine victory or defeat.  We will run different types of game modes.  Adults and children are welcome, but no children under 16 without parental supervision.  All participants will be required to fill out a waiver and code of conduct on the day! This meet up is free!

This time the cards allowed to be used are limited to Block Icon [4] and [5].

Limited Block Icon Battle is a tournament style in which the decks used can only contain cards that have the designated Block Icon (symbol with a number on the bottom right of the card).

This will be a 1000pt event. We will be using the 25-26 Chapter Approved, using the “TableTop Battles” App for tracking secondaries and Victory points, if you are not able to access the app we will have copies of the physical missions cards for purchase.

Fully painted armies are **not** required but 10pts will be awarded for battle ready painted armies (3 colors and base). 3D printed accent pieces such as Space Marine shoulder pads are acceptable but fully 3D printed or non-GW models need to be check by the TO for legality (or message Cash on our discord server linked below)

Magic Presents: A Villainous Halloween is a special Commander event where players bring their own Commander decks and, at the start of the game, secretly choose a villain card, each representing a classic villain from Magic’s history with its own alternate win condition. Villain cards will be supplied by Wizards!

As the game unfolds, players can work toward their secret objective. Once a player meets the condition on their chosen villain card, they reveal it—and from that point on, each opponent loses the game at the end of their own turn, unless they can stop the villain in time.

As a reward for participating, players can take home a pack of event materials while supplies last.
